Café Gripiñas is our distinguished family coffee brand with a commitment to quality that spans over a century. Gripiñas is grown near Cerro de Punta, the highest peak in Puerto Rico. The higher in altitude coffee is grown, the richer in flavor.

The legacy of Café Gripiñas dates back to 1858 when Don Eusebio Pérez del Castillo established the original hacienda. In 1904, under the stewardship of Jaime Oliver Mayol, the coffee gained international acclaim by winning the "Grand Prix" at the St. Louis World's Fair. Today, the tradition continues under the guidance of Luis Valldejuly Sastre, a fifth-generation coffee roaster dedicated to preserving the family's commitment to excellence.
